Wash your Skin Twice A Day and Whenever You Sweat

Washing your skin regularly helps you to get rid of dirt, bacteria, oils and other unwanted substances that might clog or build up on your skin. Endeavor to shower after a any stressful activity that got you sweating. 

And do ensure you remove and wash any sweaty clothing before wearing it again. Shower immediately after bein g in a swimming pool or in the ocean as these waters contains some chemicals which may unsafe for your skin.

  • Avoid the use of strong soaps: Using detergents and strong soaps can remove oils from your skin thereby making it dry and scaly. Use soft and mild soaps especially on your face.
  • Limit Bath Time: Long shower and hot water bath or shower removes oil from your skin. Use warm water instead of hot water for bath and reduce/limit your bath time.
  • Clean or pad your body with clean dry towel: Gently pad your skin after bath with a soft clean towel. Ensure that small moisture remains on your skin after shower.
  • Use moisturizer on your your skin if your skin is dry. The moisturizer to be used should contain SPF.

Exercise Regularly


When we exercise, we get rid of sweat from our body which not only helps the body but also the skin. During exercise, our blood circulation increases, this carries enough oxygen and nutrients to all the cells in the body including that of the skin. This helps our skin to glow and repair/replenish worn out tissues.
