Shola Shoretire was born on the 2nd day of February 2004 to a Nigerian parent who reside in Newcastle, England.
He started his footballing carrier at Wallend boys club before joining Newcastle Youth team in 2014.
He left Newcastle on July 1st to Manchester United on a free transfer at the age of 10 to continue his footballing carrier.
Shola Shoretire has played at different levels in Manchester United team ranging from the Youth team, U18 and U23 where he is currently playing .
He signed his current Manchester United contract on the 1st of July 2020 which will see him earn $2224 a week and an Annual salary of $115k till 30th June when his current contract will come to an end.
Professional Carrier.
Shola Shoretire made his professional debut on Sunday the 21st day of February 2021 when Manchester united beat Newcastle United 3:1, a club he played for early in his carrier.
Shola who did so after coming as a substitute to replace Marcus Rashford in the late minutes of the 2nd haft. This makes him the second youngest star to have represented Manchester united after Angel Gomes who did so at a very younger age.
After the match the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was full of joy and praise and has this to say
" Shola is going to play many games for us if he keeps doing what he's doing. He's training well, and he's a good boy with a good head on him,” said the boss.
More so, Marcus Rashford took to tweeter to express his pleasure over the lad's progress "Cherish this moment for ever little bro. Your family must be very proud".
